We owe a big THANK YOU to the brave men and women who work hard to keep our community safe and that come to our rescue in times of crisis! The crew of fire engine 215 treated us to a wonderful tour of their home: Gilbert Fire Station 1. The highlight of our evening was when the ladder crew rolled out their 82,000 lbs. truck and rolled out its 150 foot tall ladder! We did not get to say thank you to our two tour guides, Paul and Jason, because they were called away just as our tour was wrapping up. But we are glad such good men are on the job!P.S. All the Scouts who participated in the tour will receive a cool Fire Station Visit patch at an upcoming den meeting (probably in April) or maybe, just maybe, at the March Pack Meeting. Thanks parents! You guys are awesome for supporting scouting!
